    Has anyone here tried planning a long multi-country route like a silk road trip on their own? I’m curious if it’s worth the effort or if it’s better to go with something already organized.

    I was asking myself the exact same thing not long ago. While looking into options, I found silk road trip, and the idea to Travel the Legendary Route Between East and West really stood out to me. I decided to try it, and it actually suited me really well. The route felt smooth and well connected, and I didn’t have to stress about how to move between countries or plan every detail. At the same time, it still felt like a real journey, not something overly structured.
